Maternity Photoshoots
The sweet spot for a maternity shoot is usually between 28 and 34 weeks, when the bump is beautifully round and you are still comfortable moving around. We can shoot in a soft studio setup or out on a Malta beach at golden hour, with flowing fabrics and gentle posing that celebrate this stage rather than feeling staged. Partners and older children are welcome to join.
Newborn & Baby Sessions
Newborn sessions are best in the first couple of weeks, when babies still curl into those sleepy, snug poses — though there is no wrong time, and slightly older babies bring their own gummy smiles. I work gently and patiently at your pace, keeping everything calm, safe and warm, whether at home or in a studio setup.
Want to mark the months as they grow? Baby milestone sessions are a lovely way to track those first big changes.
Cake Smash & First Birthday
A cake smash is exactly as fun as it sounds — a colourful, playful first-birthday session where your one-year-old gets to dive into a cake while I capture every gleeful, messy moment. We build a simple themed setup in colours you love, and the photos are pure joy: the perfect way to celebrate that big milestone.
Family Sessions & Holiday Family Shoots
With families — especially young children — the best photos come from play, not from forcing everyone to sit still and smile. I keep sessions light and game-like so kids stay engaged, then capture the genuine cuddles, laughter and happy chaos as it unfolds. We can shoot at golden hour on the beach, in the historic streets of Mdina or Valletta, by the Grand Harbour or along the coast.

Between roughly 28 and 34 weeks is ideal — your bump is nicely rounded and you are usually still comfortable moving around for the session. If you are expecting twins or further along, it is best to shoot a little earlier, so get in touch and we will plan the timing.
When should we book a newborn session?+
The classic curled-up newborn look photographs best in the first two weeks or so, so it helps to get in touch before baby arrives and pencil in an approximate date. That said, slightly older babies make for beautiful, smiley sessions too — there is no wrong time.

Yes! Cake smash sessions are a joyful way to celebrate a first birthday. We set up a simple themed backdrop in your chosen colours and let your little one enjoy the cake while I capture all the happy, messy moments.
